About us

Folklore Company Sider Voivoda is an amateur folk group, which consists of an orchestra of folk instruments, a choir and a dance group. The three parts interact to create an unforgettable performance of ethnic rhythms, movements and melodies. Our main purpose is to preserve and enrich the traditional art of folklore – music, dances and songs.

In 2002▒the▒members▒of▒the▒Folklore▒Company formed a new Cultural Centre which established itself as one of the main cultural organization in North Bulgaria.

The repertoire of Folklore Company Sider Voivoda covers folklore works from all Bulgarian ethnographic areas: Mizia, Trakia, Shopsko, Dobroudzha, Pirinsko, Rodopsko. It includes both little chamber plays and big mass stagings.
